1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The Noyafa NF-563 requires batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the power button (On/Off) until the display illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

4.2 Switching Temperature Units

The device can display temperature in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between units, short press the °C/°F button.

4.3 Data Hold Function

To freeze the current readings on the display, press the HOLD BL button. Press it again to release the hold and resume live readings.

4.4 MAX/MIN Measurement

To view the maximum or minimum recorded temperature and humidity values, press the MAX MIN button. Each press will cycle through MAX, MIN, and current readings.

4.5 Backlight Control

To activate or deactivate the display backlight, press and hold the HOLD BL button.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the sensor area is kept clean and free from dust or debris for accurate readings.

5.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Display/Device Not Turning On

  • Check if the batteries are installed correctly with the right polarity.
  • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure the power button is pressed and held sufficiently.

6.2 Inaccurate Readings

  • Ensure the sensor probe is clean and unobstructed.
  • Allow the device to stabilize in the measurement environment for a few minutes.
  • Avoid placing the device near heat sources, direct sunlight, or strong air currents that could affect readings.
  • Verify that the device is within its specified operating temperature and humidity ranges.

6.3 Display Flickering or Unresponsive

  • Replace batteries if the low power indicator is on or if the display is dim.
  • Try restarting the device by removing and reinserting the batteries.
