3.2 Descaling

Regular descaling is crucial to maintain machine performance and longevity, especially in areas with hard water. Refer to the user manual (PDF) for detailed descaling instructions and recommended descaling solutions.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your espresso machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Subpar Espresso Extraction: This can be caused by incomplete preheating, too coarse or too little coffee powder, or insufficient tamping pressure. The freshness of coffee grounds also plays a vital role. Ensure the machine is fully preheated and adjust grind size and tamping technique.
  • No Water Flow: Check if the water tank is properly filled and seated. Ensure there are no blockages in the water lines or group head.
  • Weak Steam: Ensure the machine has fully heated up for steaming. Clear any blockages in the steam wand nozzle.
