6. Maintenance

6.1. Charging the Bur3069 Scanner

To charge the Bur3069 scanner, simply place it into its charging base. Ensure the charging base is connected to a power source via the USB cable. The scanner's indicator light will typically show charging status.

6.2. Battery Life (Both Scanners)

Both scanners are battery-powered. When the battery level is low, the scanner may indicate this with a specific LED pattern or sound. Recharge the scanner promptly to ensure uninterrupted operation.

6.3. Cleaning

To clean the scanner, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water. Keep the scanning window clean for optimal performance.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Scanner not responding: Ensure the scanner is powered on and fully charged. Verify that the USB receiver (for Bur3003) or charging base (for Bur3069) is securely plugged into the computer's USB port.
  • No data transmitted: Check if the scanner is properly paired. For wireless connections, ensure the scanner is within range of its receiver. Confirm that the cursor is active in the target application on your computer.
  • Incorrect data scanned: Ensure the barcode is clean and undamaged. Try scanning a different, known good barcode.
  • Intermittent connection: Move the scanner closer to its receiver. Avoid sources of strong electromagnetic interference.
