1. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions before operating this tool. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
General Safety
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool.
Electrical Safety
- Use only the charger specified by the manufacturer for the battery pack.
- Do not expose battery-powered tools to rain or wet conditions.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Cutting Safety
- Always maintain proper footing and balance. Do not overreach.
- Do not operate the chainsaw with one hand unless specifically designed for it and you are trained to do so.
- Be aware of kickback. Kickback may occur when the nose or tip of the guide bar touches an object, or when the wood closes in and pinches the saw chain in the cut.
- Never stand directly under the branch being cut when using the pole saw.

4.2 Chain Installation and Tensioning
The tool features a tool-free chain tensioning system for convenience.
- Ensure the battery is removed before handling the chain.
- Place the chain around the guide bar and sprocket.
- Adjust the tensioning knob (refer to Figure 4.2) until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand. There should be no slack on the underside of the guide bar.
- A properly tensioned chain is crucial for safe and efficient operation.

5.2 Pole Saw Mode
For high-altitude pruning, attach the mini chainsaw to the telescopic extension rod.
- After attaching the chainsaw head, extend the pole to the desired length (up to 9 feet for a total reach of 15 feet).
- Secure the pole length using the locking mechanisms.
- The cutting head can be adjusted to various angles (0°, ±30°, ±60°, ±90°) for optimal cutting position.
- Use the included shoulder strap for better balance and reduced fatigue.
- Always ensure stable footing and avoid cutting directly overhead.

5.3 Cutting Techniques
- Start the cut slowly, allowing the chain to bite into the wood.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the saw through the wood.
- For larger branches, make an undercut first to prevent bark stripping, then complete the cut from the top.
- Be mindful of falling branches and clear the area before cutting.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your tool.
6.1 Cleaning
- Always remove the battery before cleaning.
- Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the chain, guide bar, and motor housing.
- Wipe down external surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2 Chain Sharpening
- A sharp chain is essential for efficient and safe cutting.
- Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when dull. Refer to specific chain sharpening instructions or consult a professional.
6.3 Storage
- Store the tool in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
- Remove the battery from the tool before long-term storage.
- Ensure the chain is properly oiled before storage to prevent rust.
