Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly of your AODK L-shaped desk. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

Step 1: Unpack and Identify Parts

Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Refer to the parts list provided in your package to identify each piece.

Step 2: Assemble the Main Frame

Begin by connecting the main metal frame components. Ensure all screws are finger-tightened initially, then fully tighten once the section is stable. The desk features Enhanced X Brackets for structural integrity.

Step 3: Install Desktop Panels and Shelves

Attach the L-shaped desktop panels to the assembled frame. The desk offers a Reversible Design, allowing you to configure the L-shape to either the left or right corner to suit your space. Install the monitor stand and the two tiers of open shelves on both sides as per your preferred orientation.

Step 4: Integrate Drawers and Power Outlets

Insert the 3 wooden drawers beneath the desktop and assemble the 4-tier fabric storage drawers into their designated sections. Secure the built-in power outlet unit into the pre-drilled slot on the desktop.

Step 5: Install LED Lighting

Attach the LED light strip to the underside of the monitor shelf or desired location using the adhesive backing. Connect the LED light controller and power cable. Ensure the light strip is securely attached for optimal performance and light diffusion.

Step 6: Final Adjustments

Once assembled, adjust the Adjustable Leg Pads at the base of the desk to ensure stability on uneven floors. Place your monitors on the Long Monitor Stand to elevate your line of sight and promote proper sitting posture.

Operating Instructions

Using the Storage Drawers

The desk includes 7 storage drawers: 3 traditional drawers beneath the desktop and 4 fabric drawers in a tiered storage unit. Utilize these drawers to organize office supplies, documents, and personal items, keeping your workspace tidy.

Power Outlets and USB Ports

Connect your devices to the two built-in power outlets. Each unit provides 3 AC outlets and 2 USB ports for convenient charging of multiple devices simultaneously. Ensure devices are compatible with the provided voltage and current specifications.

LED Lighting System

The integrated LED lighting system offers 10 colors and 10 lighting modes. Use the inline controller to power on/off, change colors, adjust brightness, and select lighting modes. This feature provides adjustable ambiance and can help reduce eye strain during extended use.

Monitor Stand and Shelves

The long monitor stand elevates your display(s) to an ergonomic height, promoting better posture. The open shelves on both sides provide additional space for printers, books, plants, and other accessories. The dedicated CPU stand protects your computer tower from moisture and dust.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the desk surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. For spills, wipe immediately.
• Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Drawer Care: For fabric drawers, spot clean with a mild detergent if needed. Ensure wooden drawers glide smoothly; apply a silicone-based lubricant to the glides if friction occurs.
