Quick Start Guide
Setup
1. HomeStation Setup
Connect to Router: Connect the H1 HomeStation to your router's LAN port using the provided RJ45 Ethernet cable.
Power On: Connect the power adapter to the HomeStation and plug it into a power outlet. The LED light on the HomeStation will turn blue when it's ready for setup.
Download App: Download and install the "Baseus Security" app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the HomeStation.
Add HomeStation: Follow the in-app instructions to add your H1 HomeStation. You will need to press and hold the SYNC/ALARM OFF button on the back of the HomeStation for more than 5 seconds until the LED changes from blue to flashing blue.
Name HomeStation: Name your HomeStation within the app after the binding process is complete.

2. Camera Installation and Setup
Mounting Location: We recommend mounting the camera 7-10 feet (2-3 meters) above the ground for optimal coverage, with a maximum effective range of 26 feet (8 meters).
Prepare Bracket: Turn the knob of the mounting bracket counterclockwise to loosen and remove it.
Drill Holes: Drill holes with a 15/64 inch (6mm) drill bit and insert expansion bolts into the holes.
Attach Bracket: Screw the knob of the mounting bracket firmly into the mounting hole.
Attach Camera: Hold and screw the camera onto the mounting bracket.
Adjust Angle: Rotate the camera to adjust the viewing angle and check the footage with the live stream in the Baseus Security APP.
Pair Camera: In the app, select "Add Camera" and choose "N1 Outdoor Camera". Press and hold the Sync button on the camera for 5 seconds until you hear a beep and the LED changes from blue to flashing blue. Follow the app instructions to bind the camera to your HomeStation.

3. Hard Drive Installation (Optional)
The H1 HomeStation has 16GB of built-in eMMC storage. For expanded storage up to 16TB, you can install an additional hard drive (not included).
Power Off: Ensure the H1 HomeStation is turned off before installing or removing the hard drive.
Remove Top Cover: Carefully remove the HomeStation's top cover.
Loosen Screws: Loosen the screws and pull out the hard drive enclosure.
Secure Hard Drive: Use the included screws to secure the new hard drive to the enclosure.
Reinsert Enclosure: Slide the hard drive enclosure back into the HomeStation.
Replace Cover: Tighten the screws, then put the top cover back in place.
Initialize Hard Drive: The new hard drive must be initialized through the Baseus Security APP for use with the H1 HomeStation.

Operating Instructions
1. Baseus Security App Features
The "Baseus Security" app is your central control for the N1 camera system. Ensure you have downloaded the correct app.

Live Stream & Recorded Video: View real-time footage or access recorded events directly from your smartphone.
Two-Way Audio: Communicate with visitors or deter intruders using the built-in microphone and speaker.
Motion Detection: Receive instant notifications and snapshots when human motion is detected. Customize activity zones to reduce false alarms.
Night Vision: The camera features color night vision with a spotlight for vivid details in low light, and also supports black & white night vision.
Smart Home Integration: Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice control and integration into your smart home ecosystem.

Maintenance
1. Battery Life and Charging
The N1 cameras are equipped with a 7,800mAh battery, providing up to 210 days of battery life on a single charge (based on lab data with 10 seconds of video per recording, 30 recordings per day). Actual battery life varies with event frequency and recording length.
To charge the camera, open the protective cover at the bottom of the camera and connect the USB-A to USB-C charging cable. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

2. Weather Resistance
The N1 camera has an IP67 rating, making it waterproof and suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures (-20°C to 50°C).
Troubleshooting
Connection Issues: Ensure the HomeStation is properly connected to your router via Ethernet and powered on. Verify your smartphone is on the same Wi-Fi network during initial setup.
Camera Not Pairing: Make sure the camera is fully charged and within range of the HomeStation. Press and hold the Sync button on the camera for 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue.
Motion Detection Not Working: Check the motion detection settings in the app. Adjust sensitivity and activity zones as needed. Ensure the camera lens is clean and unobstructed.
Poor Video Quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check your Wi-Fi signal strength between the camera and HomeStation.
Hard Drive Not Recognized: Ensure the HomeStation was powered off during installation. Initialize the new hard drive through the Baseus Security app.
