Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking and Inspection

    Carefully remove the TiFFCOFiO Outdoor Power Strip from its packaging. Inspect the unit and its components for any signs of damage. Ensure all parts are present: the power strip unit, the 50-foot extension cord, and the ground stake.

  2. Choosing a Location

    Select a suitable outdoor location that is close enough to a grounded power outlet for the 50-foot cord to reach. Consider areas where you need power for outdoor lights, tools, or decorations. Ensure the location allows for proper drainage and is not prone to standing water.

  3. Ground Stake Installation (Recommended)

    Attach the 12-inch ground stake to the bottom of the power strip unit. Firmly push the stake into the soil until the power strip is elevated above ground level. This helps protect the outlets from water and mud.

  4. Wall Mounting (Optional)

    If ground staking is not suitable, the power strip can be wall-mounted. Use appropriate hardware (not included) to secure the unit to a sturdy vertical surface. Ensure the mounting location provides adequate protection from direct heavy rain and allows for proper cable management.

  5. Connecting to Power

    Plug the 50-foot extension cord into a grounded outdoor electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for added safety.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On/Off

    Locate the overload protection switch on the back of the power strip. Flip the switch to the "ON" position to supply power to the outlets. To turn off power, flip the switch to the "OFF" position.

  2. Connecting Devices

    Open the spring-loaded waterproof cover of an available outlet. Plug your outdoor device into the outlet. Ensure the plug is fully inserted. Close the waterproof cover securely over the plug and outlet to maintain weather protection. Repeat for up to six devices.

  3. Managing Multiple Devices

    The power strip provides six grounded outlets, allowing you to power multiple outdoor items simultaneously. Ensure the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the maximum rating of 1875W.
