3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your oven for first use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the oven. Inspect the oven for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clearance on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly under cabinets without proper steam management.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe down the interior cavity and all accessories with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  4. Install Steam Exhausting Pipe: Attach the provided steam exhausting pipe to the designated port on the top rear of the oven. This helps direct steam away from your cabinetry.
  5. Fill Water Tank: Pull out the integrated water tank located at the bottom front of the oven. Fill it with distilled or filtered water up to the MAX line. Reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Your VAL CUCINA oven features an intuitive EasyNavi knob and EasyOnEye display for simple operation.

General Operation:

  1. Power On: Press the 'Confirm/Start' knob to turn on the oven.
  2. Select Function: Rotate the EasyNavi knob to cycle through available cooking functions (Preheat, Steam, High Steam, Sous-Vide, Air-Fry, Bake, Ferment, Auto Menus).
  3. Adjust Settings: Once a function is selected, press the knob to confirm, then rotate to adjust temperature and time. Press again to confirm each setting.
  4. Start Cooking: Press and hold the 'Confirm/Start' knob to begin the cooking process.
  5. Stop/Cancel: Press the 'Stop/Cancel' button to pause or end a cooking cycle.
  6. Light: Press the 'Light' button to turn the interior oven light on or off.
