Sunrosa Frameless Glass Shower Panel User Manual

Model: 3472G

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Sunrosa Frameless Glass Shower Panel. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your new shower panel. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation and keep this manual for future reference.

This fixed shower panel is designed to enhance your bathroom with its modern aesthetic and functional features, including integrated shelving and a towel bar. It is constructed from high-quality 3/8-inch (10mm) tempered glass and durable aluminum alloy components.

2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety during installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury or product damage.

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves, during installation.
  • Handle glass panels with extreme care. Tempered glass, while strong, can shatter if struck at the edges or corners.
  • Ensure the installation surface (wall and floor) is structurally sound and capable of supporting the weight of the shower panel.
  • Use a level to ensure all components are installed horizontally and vertically to prevent water leakage and ensure stability.
  • Allow sealant to cure completely (typically 24 hours) before using the shower to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Do not hang or apply excessive force to the shower panel or its components.

3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of your Sunrosa shower panel. It is recommended that two people perform the installation due to the weight and size of the glass panel.

  1. Wall Profile Installation: Position the wall profile (vertical aluminum frame) against the wall, ensuring it is plumb using a level. Mark drill holes. Drill holes using the appropriate drill bit (e.g., 6mm for anchors). Insert wall anchors and secure the wall profile with screws.
  2. Glass Panel Placement: Carefully lift the glass panel and insert it into the installed wall profile. Ensure the glass is fully seated and level.
  3. Glass Securing: Insert the rubber strips into the wall profile to secure the glass panel.
  4. Shelf Installation: The panel features integrated aluminum alloy shelves. Two adjustable-height shelves are designed for the inside of the shower, and a large fixed shelf is for the outside. Install the small shelves according to your desired height preference by securing their brackets to the wall profile.

  1. Waterproofing: Apply a continuous bead of waterproof silicone sealant along all exterior seams where the glass meets the wall profile and where the wall profile meets the shower base.
  2. Curing Time: Allow the silicone sealant to cure for at least 24 hours before using the shower. This ensures a strong, watertight seal.

3.4 Reversible Installation

The Sunrosa shower panel is designed for reversible installation, allowing it to be set up for either right or left wall placement to best suit your bathroom layout.

4. Operating the Shower Panel

The Sunrosa Frameless Glass Shower Panel is a fixed screen designed to create an open and accessible walk-in shower experience. It does not have moving parts like a door.

  • Accessibility: The open design allows for easy entry and exit from the shower area.
  • Water Control: The panel helps to minimize water spills outside the shower area compared to traditional shower curtains, contributing to a drier bathroom environment.
  • Integrated Shelving: Utilize the two adjustable-height shelves inside the shower for storing bath products like shampoo and soap. The large fixed shelf outside provides a convenient space for items such as your phone or a speaker, and its central opening serves as a practical towel holder.

5. Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning and proper care will maintain the appearance and functionality of your shower panel.

  • Glass Cleaning: The 3/8-inch (10mm) tempered glass is designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft cloth or sponge with a non-abrasive glass cleaner or a mixture of warm water and mild soap. Wipe down the glass after each use to prevent water spots and soap scum buildup. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can scratch or damage the glass surface.
  • Frame and Shelf Cleaning: Clean the aluminum alloy frame and shelves with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
  • Sealant Inspection: Periodically inspect the silicone sealant around the panel for any signs of wear, cracking, or mold. Reapply sealant as needed to maintain a watertight seal.
  • Hardware Check: Occasionally check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Do not overtighten.
