This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Comfort Zone 14-inch Wall Mount or Freestanding Space Heater. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.
Important Safety Information
- Always place the heater on a stable, level surface or securely mount it to a wall.
- Ensure the stay-cool housing is not obstructed.
- The heater is equipped with a tip-over cutoff switch and overheat protection for safety.
- Do not cover the heater.
- Keep electrical cords, drapery, furnishings, and other combustibles at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the side and rear.
- Batteries are required for the remote control.

Setup and Installation
Your Comfort Zone heater offers flexible installation options: freestanding or wall-mounted.
Freestanding Setup
Attach the included stand to the bottom of the heater for stable floor placement. Ensure the heater is placed on a firm, level surface away from obstructions.

Wall Mounting
For wall mounting, use the provided template and hardware. Ensure the mounting location is suitable and can support the heater's weight (approximately 9 pounds). Maintain adequate clearance from walls and combustible materials as per safety guidelines.

Operating Instructions
The heater can be operated using the digital LCD display on the unit or the included remote control.
Digital LCD Display and Control Panel
The LCD display provides real-time ambient temperature readings and allows you to set various functions. The control panel features touch-sensitive buttons for power, mode selection, temperature adjustment, timer, and child lock.

Power On/Off
Press the Power button (⏻) on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off. When plugged in, the unit will display the current ambient temperature.
Setting the Thermostat
In ECO mode, you can set the desired temperature between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 32°C) using the '+' and '-' buttons. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature. To view the ambient temperature, press the ambient temperature button on the control panel.

Mode Settings
Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote to toggle between four settings:
- High Heat: 1500 Watts
- Low Heat: 750 Watts
- ECO Mode: Maintains a constant 68°F (20°C) for energy saving. The ECO LED light illuminates when active and ambient temperature is below 68°F/20°C.
- Fan-Only Mode: Circulates air without heat.
Timer Function
To set the power-off timer, ensure the heater is on, then press the Timer button on the control panel or remote. Repeatedly press the Timer button to set the duration from 1 to 12 hours in 1-hour intervals. The Timer light will turn on when set.
Child Lock
Activate the child lock feature by pressing and holding the appropriate button on the control panel or remote for 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your heater. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Filter Maintenance
The heater is equipped with an air intake filter. Regularly check and clean the filter to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance. Gently remove the filter, clean it with a vacuum or rinse with water, and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
Troubleshooting
If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Heater does not turn on: Ensure the unit is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the master power switch (if applicable) is on. Verify that the tip-over switch has not been activated (reposition the heater on a flat surface).
- Heater turns off unexpectedly: This may indicate activation of the overheat protection system. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool for 30 minutes, and check for any obstructions to the air intake or output.
- Inaccurate temperature readings: Ensure the ambient temperature sensor is not obstructed or exposed to direct heat sources.
