6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera fails to connect to Wi-Fi or app. | Incorrect Wi-Fi password; camera too far from router; 5GHz Wi-Fi network used; app compatibility issue. | Ensure correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password. Move camera closer to router. Confirm you are using the ARCCTV app. Restart camera and router. |
| Battery drains quickly or does not charge. | Insufficient sunlight on solar panel; faulty solar panel connection; extreme temperatures. | Adjust solar panel position for maximum sunlight. Check solar panel cable connection. Charge camera manually if needed. Ensure operating temperature is within specified range. |
| Poor video quality or blurry images. | Dirty lens; poor Wi-Fi signal; low light conditions. | Clean the camera lens. Improve Wi-Fi signal strength. Ensure sufficient lighting for optimal image quality. |
| False motion detection alerts. | High sensitivity settings; environmental factors (e.g., swaying branches, passing cars). | Adjust detection sensitivity, detection zone, and detection time settings in the ARCCTV app. |
| Water ingress/condensation inside camera. | Improper installation; extreme weather conditions exceeding IP66 rating. | Ensure all seals are properly seated during installation. While IP66 rated, extreme prolonged exposure to harsh conditions might affect performance. Contact support if issue persists. |
