5. Setup Guide
5.1. Physical Connections

- Install Hard Disk Drive (HDD): If an HDD is not pre-installed, open the NVR casing, connect the SATA data and power cables to the HDD, and secure it in the designated bay. Refer to the specific HDD installation guide if needed.
- Connect IP Cameras: Connect your PoE-enabled IP cameras directly to the 8 PoE ports on the rear panel of the NVR using Ethernet cables. For non-PoE cameras, connect them to a PoE switch or provide separate power, then connect the switch to the NVR's network port.
