4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking and Preparation
- Carefully remove the icicle lights from the packaging.
- Untangle the string lights gently. It is recommended to hold the bundle in one hand and let one end drop to the floor, then walk away to allow the lights to untangle naturally.
- Inspect the lights and power adapter for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
4.2 Installation Steps
- Choose Location: Select a suitable outdoor location for installation, such as eaves, roofs, or along fences. Ensure the power adapter can be placed in a dry, protected area, away from water.
- Mounting: Secure the main string of the icicle lights using appropriate outdoor clips or ties. Avoid using staples or nails that could damage the wiring. Ensure the drops hang freely.
- Connect Power: Plug the icicle lights into the ETL certified power adapter.
- Connect Multiple Sets (Optional): If connecting multiple sets, ensure the power is disconnected from all sets. Align the male and female connectors at the end of each string and push them together firmly. Twist the waterproof caps to secure the connection. Remember, you can connect up to a maximum of 3 sets.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Once properly installed and connected to a power source, the lights will turn on. To turn off, simply unplug the power adapter.
5.2 Changing Lighting Modes
The icicle lights feature 8 different lighting modes. These modes are controlled by a button located on the power adapter.
- Press the button on the power adapter repeatedly to cycle through the 8 available modes.
- The built-in memory chip will save your last selected mode setting, so you do not need to reset it each day.

5.3 Timer Function
The lights include a convenient timer function:
- To activate the timer, long press the button on the power adapter for 3 seconds.
- The timer indicator light on the adapter will illuminate, confirming activation.
- Once activated, the lights will stay on for 6 hours and then automatically turn off for 18 hours, repeating this cycle daily.
- To deactivate the timer, long press the button again for 3 seconds until the timer indicator light turns off.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Before cleaning, ensure the lights are unplugged from the power source.
- Wipe the lights gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2 Storage
- Before storing, ensure the lights are completely dry.
- Carefully coil the string lights to prevent tangling.
- Store the lights and adapter in their original packaging or a suitable container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
