3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Battery

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera offers wire-free flexible installation, allowing placement wherever needed. Choose a location with ample direct sunlight for the solar panel.

1. Select a suitable outdoor location that provides the desired viewing angle and receives sufficient sunlight.
2. Use the provided mounting bracket, screws, and wall plugs to securely attach the camera to a wall or sturdy surface.
3. Adjust the camera and solar panel angles to optimize sunlight exposure and surveillance coverage. The 10ft/3m cable allows flexible solar panel placement.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View and Playback

• Open the DEKCO App to access the live feed from your cameras.
• Navigate through the app interface to view recorded events and playback footage stored on the micro SD card or cloud.

4.2 Panoramic PTZ Control

Utilize the app's PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) controls to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. With 360-degree panoramic images, you can tap on a specific area in the panorama to make the camera rotate to that position.

4.3 Auto Motion Tracking

• Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. These cameras are not compatible with 5GHz networks.
  • Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Move the camera closer to the router if the signal is weak.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and the camera.
  • Verify that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
• Battery Not Holding Charge:
  • Ensure the solar panel receives at least a few hours of direct sunlight daily. Obstructions (trees, buildings) can reduce charging efficiency.
  • Clean the solar panel surface regularly to remove any dirt or grime.

• Poor Image/Video Quality:
