Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your camera.

  • Sensor Cleaning: Regularly inspect the image sensor for dust or debris. Use a professional sensor cleaning kit or consult a qualified service center for cleaning. Avoid touching the sensor directly.
  • Lens Care: Keep lenses clean using a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch lens coatings.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging lithium-ion batteries for extended periods. Charge batteries fully before long periods of inactivity.
  • Body Cleaning: Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters ports or buttons.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Fujifilm official website for firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add new features, and fix bugs. Follow the instructions provided by Fujifilm carefully during the update process.
