Setup
1. Charging the Mini Copter Battery
The Mini Copter is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- Locate the charging port on the Mini Copter.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the Mini Copter's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (refer to product for specific light behavior). Charging typically takes approximately 50 minutes for a full charge, providing up to 7 minutes of flight time.
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable.
2. Installing Batteries in the Remote Controller
The 2.4 GHz remote controller requires batteries (not included, typically AA or AAA, refer to packaging for exact type).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
- Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.

Operating Instructions
1. Pairing the Mini Copter and Controller
- Ensure both the Mini Copter and the remote controller are powered off.
- Place the Mini Copter on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the Mini Copter. The indicator light on the copter will flash.
- Turn on the remote controller.
- Move the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The indicator lights on both the copter and controller should become solid, indicating successful pairing.
2. Flight Controls
The Carrera RC Mario Mini Copter features 2.4 GHz Digital Proportional Technology for precise control, along with Beginner-Advanced mode, auto take-off/landing, and automatic altitude control.
- Left Joystick (Throttle):
- Push up to increase altitude.
- Pull down to decrease altitude.
- Right Joystick (Directional Control):
- Push up for forward flight.
- Pull down for backward flight.
- Push left for left sideward flight.
- Push right for right sideward flight.
- Auto Take-off/Landing Button: Press this button for automatic take-off or landing.
- Beginner/Advanced Mode Button: Toggle between flight modes for different skill levels. Beginner mode offers more stable and slower flight, while Advanced mode provides more agile and faster control.
- Automatic Altitude Control: The copter will automatically maintain its altitude when the throttle joystick is released, making it easier to control.
3. First Flight Tips
- Start in Beginner mode in a spacious, indoor area free of obstacles.
- Practice gentle throttle control to achieve stable hovering.
- Familiarize yourself with directional controls before attempting complex maneuvers.
- Always land gently to prevent damage.

Maintenance
