4. Operating Instructions
Once the track is fully assembled and batteries are installed in the motorized booster, you are ready to race:
- Activate Booster: Locate the power switch on the motorized booster and turn it to the "ON" position. The booster wheels will begin to spin.
- Launch Cars: Place a Hot Wheels 1:64 scale car onto the track section leading into the motorized booster. The booster will propel the car through the track.
- Experience Crash Zones: The Epic Crash Dash set is designed for multiple cars to race simultaneously, leading to exciting collisions in the designated crash zones. Experiment with launching multiple cars to observe the dynamic interactions.
- Experiment with Layouts: Utilize the Mega Track Pack to create custom track configurations. Connect additional track pieces to extend loops, create longer straightaways, or add new pathways.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe track pieces and vehicles with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic components (motorized booster) in water. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries from the motorized booster if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type and brand.
- Storage: The Epic Crash Dash set can be collapsed for convenient storage. Disassemble additional Mega Track Pack sections and store all components in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
- Cars are not moving or are moving slowly:
- Check if the motorized booster is switched "ON".
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Verify that track connections are secure and there are no gaps or misalignments.
- Ensure the car is placed correctly on the track before the booster.
- Frequent crashes outside of crash zones:
- This set is designed for crashes; however, if cars are consistently derailing, check track connections for stability.
- Ensure the track is on a flat, stable surface.
- Some Hot Wheels cars perform differently on certain tracks. Experiment with different vehicles.
- Booster motor is not working:
- Confirm batteries are new and correctly inserted.
