1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your JINJUNYE Ice Maker. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the ice maker is connected to a grounded power outlet. Do not use if the power cord is damaged.
• Refrigerant Warning: This appliance contains flammable refrigerant. Do not puncture the refrigerant tubing. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to defrost the ice maker.
• Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
• Initial Setup: After receiving the ice maker, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in and operating. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
• Water Quality: Use only potable drinking water.
• Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

3. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
2. Rest Period: Place the unit upright on a flat, stable surface. Allow it to rest for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This is crucial for the compressor's longevity.
3. Clean: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker and the ice basket with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Add Water: Open the lid and remove the ice basket. Fill the water reservoir with potable drinking water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
5. Replace Basket: Place the ice basket back into the unit.
6. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Making Ice:

1. Ensure the unit is set up as per Section 3.
2. Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the ice maker. The "Power" indicator light will illuminate.
3. Press the "SELECT" button to choose your desired ice cube size: "S" for small or "L" for large. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
4. The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch may take slightly longer.
5. When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the machine will automatically pause. Remove ice to resume production.
6. If the "ADD WATER" indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Add more water to continue ice production.

5. Maintenance

Self-Cleaning Function:

1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
2. Add clean water to the reservoir up to the "MAX" fill line.
3. Long press the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode. The "S" and "L" indicator lights will blink consecutively.
4. The self-cleaning cycle typically lasts for 15 minutes.
5. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water by removing the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
6. It is recommended to perform the self-cleaning function once a month, especially in hard water areas.

General Cleaning:

• Regularly wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean the interior components, including the ice basket and water reservoir, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
• Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and operating the unit.
