Setup and Installation

Pre-Installation

1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
3. Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses.

Mounting Instructions

The Zenith fixture can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and is designed to fit on a standard pancake junction box.

1. Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Carefully pull the electrical wires from the junction box through the center hole of the mounting bracket.

Wiring

This fixture features a Universal Input Voltage Driver (120V-240V-277V).

1. Connect the fixture's black wire to the hot (black) wire from the junction box.
2. Connect the fixture's white wire to the neutral (white) wire from the junction box.
3. Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house ground wire (green or bare copper).
4. Secure all connections with wire nuts and electrical tape. Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.

Color Temperature (CCT) Selection

The Zenith fixture includes a CCT selection switch located inside the canopy, accessible during installation. This allows you to choose from five color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K.

1. Before securing the fixture to the mounting bracket, locate the CCT selection switch on the back of the fixture.
2. Slide the switch to your desired color temperature setting.
3. Once the CCT is set, align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it in place using the provided hardware.

Operation

Powering On

After installation is complete, restore power at the circuit breaker. The fixture will illuminate according to the selected CCT setting.

Dimming

The Modern Forms Zenith fixture is designed for smooth and continuous dimming. It is compatible with electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmers. Ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with LED lighting for optimal performance.

Emergency Battery Backup (EM Versions Only)

For models with the -EM designation, an integrated emergency battery backup provides up to 90 minutes of illumination during a power outage. The battery charges automatically when the fixture is connected to power. No user intervention is required for its operation during an outage.

Maintenance
