4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, regularly wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or casing. Ensure the ventilation grilles are free from dust and obstructions.
4.2 Recalibration
If you suspect inaccurate readings, the device may require recalibration. Refer to the mobile application's settings or the detailed user manual for specific recalibration procedures for each sensor (PM2.5, CO2, TVOC, HCHO, Temperature, Humidity).
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues and their potential solutions.
- High PM Levels: Often caused by cooking without proper ventilation, burning candles, or a dusty environment. Improve ventilation or clean the area.
- High CO2 Levels: Indicates stale air, typically from insufficient ventilation in occupied spaces. Open windows or use ventilation systems to introduce fresh air. High CO2 can lead to sleepiness, headaches, and reduced focus.
- High HCHO/TVOC Levels: Common sources include new furniture, flooring, cabinets, air fresheners, cleaning sprays, paints, and plastics. Ensure good ventilation, especially after introducing new items or using chemical products. Prolonged exposure can irritate eyes or skin.
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the device is fully charged. Press and hold the power button for several seconds until a beep is heard and the screen illuminates.
- Inaccurate Readings: Perform a recalibration as described in Section 4.2. Ensure the device is placed in an area with good air circulation, away from direct heat sources or strong drafts.
