Figure 1: VEVOR 5-8KW Diesel Heater
The VEVOR diesel heater features comprehensive coverage for different voltages, including a 110V adapter and a DC12V T-shaped plug for flexible wiring. It boasts low fuel consumption, using only approximately 1 gallon of diesel per night to heat a large area of 215 sq ft (20 sq m) with over 90% heating efficiency. Control is made easy with a 98ft (30m) long-distance remote control and a high-definition LCD screen, allowing for temperature adjustments from 46.4°F to 96.8°F (8°C to 36°C). The unit is designed for stable operation in a wide temperature range from -40°F to 104°F (-40°C to 40°C) and includes multiple safety protections such as overheating, short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, and reverse connection protection.
2. Safety Information
Always adhere to the following safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the product:
- Exhaust Venting: The exhaust must be vented externally. Never operate the heater in an enclosed space without proper ventilation. Inhaling exhaust fumes can be fatal.
- Professional Installation: Professional installation is highly recommended to ensure correct setup and safe operation, especially concerning exhaust and fuel line connections.
- Fuel Type: Use only diesel fuel as specified. Do not use gasoline or other volatile fuels.
- Clearance: Maintain adequate clearance around the heater to prevent obstruction of air intake and exhaust, and to avoid fire hazards.
- Overheat Protection: The unit features built-in overheat protection (≥536°F/280°C). If the unit overheats, it will shut down automatically.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure proper voltage and polarity when connecting to power sources. The unit includes short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, and reverse connection protection.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the operating heater.

4.2 Exhaust and Intake Installation
Proper installation of the exhaust and intake pipes is critical for safety and performance:
- Exhaust Pipe: The tail gas must be discharged externally to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. Ensure the exhaust pipe is securely fastened and extends away from any living or enclosed spaces.
- Intake Pipe: The intake pipe must be separated from the exhaust pipe to avoid inhaling tail gas. Ensure it is not excessively bent or placed in an upward position.
- Muffler: Install the silencer on the exhaust pipe to reduce noise during operation.
Refer to the diagram below for recommended installation practices. Professional installation is advised.
