10. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your thermostat, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Thermostat does not power on. | No power supply; incorrect wiring; circuit breaker tripped. | Check circuit breaker; verify wiring connections (consult professional); ensure power is restored. |
| Incorrect temperature reading. | Sensor obstructed; sensor faulty; thermostat placed in drafty area. | Ensure sensors are clear; reposition thermostat if necessary; contact support if sensor is suspected faulty. |
| Wi-Fi connection issues. | Incorrect Wi-Fi password; weak signal; router issues; thermostat not in pairing mode. | Verify Wi-Fi password; move thermostat closer to router; restart router; re-enter pairing mode and try connecting again. |
| Heating system not responding. | Incorrect wiring; heating system fault; thermostat not calling for heat. | Verify wiring (consult professional); check heating system's power and function; ensure thermostat is set to a temperature above current room temperature. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support or a qualified electrician.
