Before beginning installation, please ensure all components are present:

Installation Guide

It is strongly recommended to install this lock while the door is open or ajar. Do not close your door until the batteries are inserted and the lock is fully functional.

Tools Required:

• 4 x AA alkaline batteries (not included)
• 1 x Screwdriver (not included)

Door Compatibility Check:

Ensure your door meets the following specifications for proper installation:

• Hole diameter: 2-1/8" (54mm)
• Minimalist distance: 4-7/10" (120mm)
• Backset: 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm)
• Bore diameter: 1" (25mm)

This lock is not compatible with storm doors due to handle size. Please confirm the size of your lock before purchase.

Installation Steps:

1. Adjust the latch bolt to ensure the square hole remains horizontal.
2. Install the latch bolt into the door edge and secure it with screws.
3. Install the front panel, feeding the wire through the door hole.
4. Install the mounting plate on the interior side, ensuring the correct side faces out.
5. Choose the appropriate screw size based on your door thickness and install the screws to secure the mounting plate.
6. Connect the wire from the front panel to the rear panel.
7. Install the rear panel and secure it with screws.
8. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
9. Install the battery cover and secure it with its screw.
10. Install the handle, ensuring it is properly aligned, and tighten the handle screw.

Operating Instructions

The VOLIBeL Smart Door Handle offers various methods for unlocking and managing access.

Unlocking Methods:

• Fingerprint: Place your registered fingerprint on the sensor.
• Passcode: Enter your programmed passcode on the keypad.
• Key Fob: Present the key fob to the lock's sensor.
• Mechanical Key: Use the physical key as a backup.
• App Control: Use the TTLock App on your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (with G2 Gateway).

App and Remote Control (G2 Gateway Required):

For full remote functionality, including Wi-Fi and voice control, the G2 Gateway (sold separately) is required. Once connected, you can:

• Unlock/lock your door from anywhere.
• Generate one-time, timed, or recurring passcodes remotely.
• Monitor access logs and receive real-time notifications.
• Integrate with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control.

Auto-Lock and Passage Mode:

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

The lock requires 4 AA alkaline batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide a low power alert. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

The VOLIBeL Smart Door Handle is designed for durability with IP54 water resistance and resistance to high (158°F) and low (-22°F) temperatures. Regular cleaning with a soft, dry cloth is recommended. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

• Fingerprint Sensor Issues: If the fingerprint sensor is inconsistent, ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-registering your fingerprint in the app may resolve the issue.
• App Connectivity Problems: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range. If using Wi-Fi, verify the G2 Gateway is properly connected and powered. Restarting the app or the lock (by removing and reinserting batteries) can often resolve connectivity glitches.
• Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels. If batteries are depleted, use the mechanical key or connect a power bank to the emergency power port for temporary power.
