Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your drum throne:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and place them on a clean, flat surface. Refer to the "Package Contents" section to ensure all parts are present.
- Attach Backrest to Seat:
- Locate the mounting bracket on the underside of the seat cushion and the corresponding attachment point on the backrest.
- Align the backrest with the bracket.
- Insert the two backrest attachment screws through the washers and then through the bracket holes into the backrest. Tighten securely by hand. Do not overtighten.

- Place the hydraulic base/stand on a stable surface with the legs fully extended.
- Carefully place the assembled seat (with backrest) onto the top of the hydraulic cylinder of the base. Ensure it is seated firmly and centrally.
- Verify Stability: Gently test the stability of the assembled drum throne before sitting on it. Ensure all connections are tight and the base legs are fully spread.
Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment
The SONICAKE QDT-30 features a hydraulic mechanism for quick and effortless height adjustment.
- To Raise the Seat: While standing, pull the hydraulic lever located under the seat upwards. The seat will automatically rise. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
- To Lower the Seat: While seated, pull the hydraulic lever upwards. The seat will lower under your body weight. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
The adjustable height range is approximately 45 cm (17.7 inches) to 60 cm (23.6 inches).
Backrest Adjustment
The backrest can be adjusted for optimal ergonomic support.
- To Adjust Backrest Position: Loosen the backrest attachment screws located on the underside of the seat. Adjust the backrest forwards or backwards to your preferred position. Once adjusted, securely tighten the screws to lock the backrest in place.
- The backrest is designed to conform to the natural curvature of the human body, providing excellent lumbar support.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather fabric seat and backrest with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts, especially those securing the backrest and the seat to the base, to ensure they remain tight. Tighten if necessary.
- Hydraulic System: The hydraulic system is generally maintenance-free. If you notice any issues with height adjustment, ensure the lever is functioning correctly and there are no obstructions.
- Anti-slip Feet: Ensure the anti-slip rubber pads on the base legs are clean and free from debris to maintain optimal grip.
