3. Product Features

4. Setup
- Connect the Drive: Connect the integrated USB-C or USB 3.0 cable from the NOLYTH drive to an available port on your computer.
- Power Supply:
- For desktops, connect the drive to a rear USB port on the host computer to ensure sufficient power.
- If the drive is not recognized or operating correctly due to insufficient power, use the included USB power cable. Connect the micro-USB end to the drive's micro port and the USB-A end to a 5V charger or power bank.
- Driver Installation: The drive is plug-and-play and typically does not require additional driver installation. Your operating system should automatically detect it.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Inserting and Ejecting Discs
- Insert Disc: Gently press the eject button on the front of the drive. The disc tray will slide out. Place your CD or DVD onto the tray, ensuring it is centered. Gently push the tray back into the drive until it clicks into place.
- Eject Disc: Press the eject button on the drive. The disc tray will slide out, allowing you to remove the disc. Alternatively, you can eject the disc through your computer's operating system (e.g., right-click on the drive icon and select 'Eject').
5.2. Playing/Reading Discs
Once a disc is successfully inserted, your computer should automatically detect it. For Mac systems, the device icon will appear after the disc has been inserted and successfully read. You can then use your preferred media player software (for movies/music) or file explorer (for data discs) to access the content.
5.3. Burning Files to Discs
Insert a blank recordable CD-R/RW or DVD±R/RW disc into the drive. Use your computer's built-in burning software or a third-party application to select the files you wish to burn and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the burning process.
5.4. Using the Integrated Hub Functions
- USB Ports: Plug USB devices such as flash drives, external hard drives, wired/wireless mice, or keyboards into the two USB-A ports on the side of the drive.
- SD/TF Card Readers: Insert your SD or TF (Micro SD) memory card into the corresponding slot to transfer photos and videos to your computer. Note: SD and TF cards cannot be used simultaneously.

7. Important Notes
- For desktops, always connect the CD burner to the back USB port of the host computer to avoid power shortage.
- For Mac systems, the computer will not display the device icon until a disc has been inserted and successfully read.
- If CDs or DVDs cannot be read by the computer, use the included charging cable to connect to a 5V charger or power bank for extra power, as some computers may not provide enough power.
- SD/TF cards cannot be used simultaneously in the integrated card reader slots.

9. Troubleshooting
- Drive not recognized: Ensure the drive is securely connected to a USB 3.0 or USB-C port. Try a different USB port. For desktop computers, connect to a rear USB port directly on the motherboard.
- Insufficient Power: If the drive is not reading discs or operating erratically, connect the additional USB power cable (included) to a 5V power source such as a wall charger or power bank. Some computer USB ports may not provide enough power.
- Mac System - Disc Not Displayed: On Mac operating systems, the external drive icon may not appear until a disc is successfully inserted and read by the drive.
- Disc Ejection Issues: If the physical eject button is unresponsive, try ejecting the disc through your computer's operating system (e.g., in File Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac, right-click the drive and select 'Eject').
