4. Setup

4.1 Initial Preparation

1. Insert TF Card: Insert the provided 32GB TF card (or another compatible Micro SD card up to 64GB) into the TF card slot.
2. Format TF Card: For first-time use, format the memory card within the dash cam's menu settings. This ensures compatibility and optimal performance.

4.2 Installation

1. Mounting: Attach the suction cup mount to the windshield in a location that does not obstruct your view. Ensure the dash cam is securely fastened.
2. Power Connection: Connect the dash cam to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the provided car charger. The dash cam requires continuous power from the car charger to operate correctly. The built-in 150mAh battery is for emergency recording and saving settings only.
3. Cable Management: Route the power cable safely to avoid interference with driving controls.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and the vehicle engine starts.
• The dash cam will automatically power off approximately 5 seconds after the external power connection is removed (e.g., when the engine is turned off).

5.2 Recording Modes

• Loop Recording: The dash cam records continuously in segments. When the memory card is full, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings.
• 24H Parking Monitor: When enabled, the dash cam will automatically turn on and record if a collision or bump is detected while the vehicle is parked. For continuous 24-hour parking monitoring, a separate step-down cable connected to the car battery is required (not included).
• G-Sensor: Detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten during loop recording.

5.3 Screen Display

The 3.16-inch IPS screen can display footage from the front camera, interior camera, or both simultaneously in various split-screen configurations.

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Dash Cam Not Turning On:
  Ensure the car charger is properly connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's cigarette lighter. Verify the vehicle's power outlet is functional.
• "SD Card Error" Message:
  Format the TF card through the dash cam's menu. If the error persists, try a different compatible TF card. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.
• Dash Cam Shuts Down Unexpectedly:
  Confirm the dash cam is continuously powered by the car charger. The internal battery is for emergency use only and does not sustain continuous operation.
• Poor Video Quality at Night:
  Ensure the lenses are clean. Verify that night vision features (infrared LEDs for interior camera) are enabled in settings if applicable.
• Loop Recording Not Working:
  Check if the TF card is full or corrupted. Format the TF card. Ensure loop recording is enabled in the settings.
