4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Mouse
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the mouse's front port and to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB charger. The scroll wheel LED indicates charging status.

4.2. Tri-Mode Connectivity
The ROG Keris II Ace supports three connection modes: 2.4 GHz RF Wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C Wired.
4.2.1. 2.4 GHz RF Wireless Mode
- Locate the wireless receiver (USB dongle) and the USB dongle extender.
- For optimal signal, connect the wireless receiver to the USB dongle extender, then plug the extender into a USB port on your computer. This positions the receiver closer to the mouse.
- Turn on the mouse using the switch on the bottom. Ensure it is set to 2.4 GHz mode.
- The mouse should automatically connect. If not, press and hold the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse until the LED indicator blinks, then press the pairing button on the receiver.
4.2.2. Bluetooth Mode
- Turn on the mouse and set the switch on the bottom to Bluetooth mode.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse until the LED indicator blinks rapidly.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and select the ROG Keris II Ace from the list of available devices to pair.
4.2.3. USB-C Wired Mode
Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable from the mouse to a USB port on your computer. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. DPI Adjustment
The ROG Keris II Ace features an ROG AimPoint Pro 42K Sensor. DPI (Dots Per Inch) can be adjusted using the dedicated DPI button, typically located on the bottom of the mouse or programmable via software. Cycle through preset DPI stages or customize them using the Armoury Crate software.

5.2. Polling Rate
The mouse supports a high polling rate for responsive performance. With the ROG Polling Rate Booster, you can achieve 4K Hz wirelessly and 8K Hz in wired mode. Ensure the booster is connected for these rates.

5.3. Customization with Armoury Crate
Download and install the ASUS Armoury Crate software from the official ASUS website to unlock full customization options. This software allows you to:
- Program buttons
- Adjust DPI stages
- Configure polling rate

- Monitor battery life
- Update firmware
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To clean your mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
