Setup
Charging the Speaker
- Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off when fully charged).
- Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds to turn on the speaker. You will hear an audible prompt, and the LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Escape Speaker" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker is now ready to play audio from your device.
Operating the Speaker
Playing Music
- After successful Bluetooth pairing, open your favorite music app on your device.
- Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker to start or pause playback.
- Press the Volume Up (+) button to increase the volume.
- Press the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the volume.
- Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button for the next track.
- Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button for the previous track.
Hands-Free Calling
- When a call comes in, the music will pause.
- Press the Play/Pause button once to answer an incoming call.
- Press the Play/Pause button once again to end the call.
- Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the speaker's surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use.
