  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on/off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up Button: Press to increase volume. Press and hold for next track.
  • Volume Down Button: Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for previous track.
  • Microphone: For hands-free calling.
  • Charging Port: USB port for charging the speaker.
  • Strap Attachment Point: For attaching the included carrying strap.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off when fully charged).
  4. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds to turn on the speaker. You will hear an audible prompt, and the LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
  4. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  5. Select "Escape Speaker" from the list of devices.
  6. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
  7. The speaker is now ready to play audio from your device.

Operating the Speaker

Playing Music

  • After successful Bluetooth pairing, open your favorite music app on your device.
  • Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker to start or pause playback.
  • Press the Volume Up (+) button to increase the volume.
  • Press the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the volume.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button for the next track.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button for the previous track.

Hands-Free Calling

  • When a call comes in, the music will pause.
  • Press the Play/Pause button once to answer an incoming call.
  • Press the Play/Pause button once again to end the call.
  • Press and hold the Play/Pause button to reject an incoming call.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the speaker's surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use.
