Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to make delicious popcorn:
- Place the base unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil (vegetable, canola, or coconut oil recommended) to the non-stick cooking plate using the provided oil measuring spoon.
- Add 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels to the cooking plate using the provided kernel measuring cup. Do not overfill.
- Place the clear lid securely onto the base unit. The lid also functions as a serving bowl.
- Plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet. The stirring rod will begin to rotate, and the heating element will activate.
- Popcorn will begin to pop within a few minutes. The stirring rod ensures even popping.
- Once popping slows to 1-2 seconds between pops, turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet.
- Carefully remove the clear lid using the cool-touch handles. Be aware of hot steam.
- To serve, invert the base unit with the lid still attached, so the lid becomes the serving bowl. The cool-touch handles facilitate this process.
- Add desired seasonings or butter.
