6. Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Activate the Light: Before installation, locate the power button on the back of the light unit and press it to turn on the light.
  2. Install Mounting Plates: Choose suitable locations for both the solar panel and the light unit. Use the provided screws and anchors to securely install the mounting plates.
  3. Install Brackets: Attach the brackets to the light unit and solar panel using the included screws.
  4. Mount Solar Panel: Insert the solar panel onto its installed mounting plate. Adjust its angle to face direct sunlight.
  5. Mount Solar Light: Insert the solar light unit onto its installed mounting plate. Adjust its angle to cover the desired lighting area.
  6. Connect Cable: Connect the 16.4ft (5m) cable from the solar panel to the light unit. Ensure a secure connection.
  7. Select Mode: Once installed, use the remote control or the button on the light to select your preferred operating mode.

7. Operation

The TOBUSA Solar Outdoor Motion Sensor Flood Lights offer three distinct operating modes, controllable via the included remote or the button on the light unit.

7.1. Lighting Modes

  • Mode 1 (Strong Light Mode): The light remains OFF until motion is detected. Upon detection, it illuminates at 100% brightness for 20 seconds, then turns OFF if no further motion is detected.
  • Mode 2 (Dim Light Mode): The light stays ON at 10% brightness. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% for 20 seconds, then returns to 10% brightness if no further motion is detected.
  • Mode 3 (Stay On Mode): The light remains ON continuously at 30% brightness throughout the night, without motion sensor activation.

7.2. Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to easily switch between modes and power the light. Ensure the light unit's main power button is pressed before using the remote.

8. Charging

The solar panel charges the internal battery during daylight hours. For optimal performance, ensure the solar panel is placed in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight.

  • Operating Time: A full charge can provide 8-10 hours of illumination, depending on the selected mode and motion detection frequency.

9. Maintenance
