LCD Monitor Functions:

  • TIME: Displays the duration of your workout.

Use the "MODE" button to cycle through display functions and "RESET" to clear data. The monitor is powered by 1 AAA battery (not included).

4.3. Proper Rowing Technique

Correct form is crucial for an effective and safe workout. A rowing stroke consists of four phases: the catch, the drive, the finish, and the recovery.

  1. The Catch: Sit tall with knees bent, shins vertical, arms extended forward, and hands gripping the handle.
  2. The Drive: Push off with your legs, then lean back slightly from the hips, and finally pull the handle towards your abdomen.
  3. The Finish: Legs are extended, body is leaned back, and the handle is at your abdomen.
  4. The Recovery: Extend arms forward, then lean forward from the hips, and finally bend your knees to slide the seat forward to the catch position.

Focus on a smooth, continuous motion. The power should come primarily from your legs (60%), followed by your core (20%), and then your arms (20%).
