5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of the EcoFlow 800W Car Battery Charger. It is recommended to consult a professional if you are unsure about any steps.

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the parking brake is engaged. Disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery before starting installation.
  2. Mount the Charger: Choose a secure, well-ventilated location in your vehicle for the charger. Use the provided mounting plate and screws (M5*40, M5*12) to firmly attach the charger.
  3. Connect to Vehicle Battery:

    • Connect the 5m input cable to your vehicle's battery. The red cable connects to the positive (+) terminal, and the black cable connects to the negative (-) terminal.
    • Ensure connections are tight and secure.
    • If the input cable is too bulky or difficult to route, you may need to temporarily disconnect the front part of the cable for easier installation.
  4. Route Cables: Carefully route the input cable from the vehicle battery to the charger, avoiding moving parts, sharp edges, and heat sources. Use cable ties or clips to secure the cable.

  5. Connect to Charger: Plug the input cable into the "Car Battery Port" on the EcoFlow charger.

  6. Connect to Portable Power Station: Use the XT150 output cable to connect the charger's "Portable Power Station Port" to your EcoFlow portable power station.
  7. Reconnect Vehicle Battery: Reconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button on the charger until the LED Indicator illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button until the LED Indicator turns off.
