Setup

Initial Setup

Your watch comes with a pre-installed battery. If the display is not active, press any button to wake it up. No specific battery activation steps are required for initial use.

Time and Date Setting

1. In normal time display mode, press the MODE button repeatedly until the time setting mode is displayed (usually indicated by flashing digits).
2. Use the RESET button to select the digit you wish to adjust (hours, minutes, seconds, year, month, day).
3. Use the ST/STP button to increase the selected digit. Hold to rapidly advance.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

Operating Instructions

Mode Navigation

Press the MODE button to cycle through the different functions: Time Display → Chronograph → Alarm → Dual Time.

Chronograph Function

1. From time display, press MODE to enter Chronograph mode. The display will show '0:00:00'.
2. Press ST/STP to start the stopwatch.
3. Press ST/STP again to pause the stopwatch.
4. Press RESET to reset the stopwatch to '0:00:00'.

Lap Time

While the chronograph is running, press the RESET button to record a lap time. The display will momentarily show the lap time while the chronograph continues to run in the background. Press RESET again to return to the running chronograph display.

Alarm Setting

1. From time display, press MODE twice to enter Alarm mode.
2. Press RESET to select the hour or minute digits.
3. Use ST/STP to adjust the selected digit.
4. Press MODE to confirm and exit.
5. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press ST/STP while in Alarm mode. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

Dual Time

1. From time display, press MODE three times to enter Dual Time mode.
2. Press RESET to select the hour or minute digits.
3. Use ST/STP to adjust the selected digit.
4. Press MODE to confirm and exit. This allows you to keep track of a second time zone.

Military Time (24-Hour Format)

In normal time display mode, press the ST/STP button to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour (military) time formats.

Backlight

Press the LIGHT button (usually located on the top right or left side of the watch) to illuminate the display for a few seconds, allowing visibility in low-light conditions.

Maintenance and Care

Water Resistance

Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 100 feet (30 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or prolonged water activities. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the resin case and strap. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying thoroughly.

Battery Replacement

The watch uses a product-specific battery (included). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
