3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

The SnapFresh Cordless Electric Scissors is equipped with a rechargeable 4V battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

1. Locate the charging port at the bottom of the scissor unit.
2. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a 5V/1A USB charger (not included) or a compatible USB power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, laptop/PC).
4. Allow the unit to charge until the indicator light shows a full charge.

3.2 Blade Installation and Replacement

The unit comes with one blade pre-installed and one extra blade. Follow these steps to replace the blade:

1. Ensure the tool is turned off and the safety lock is engaged.
2. Use the provided blade removal pin to loosen the screw securing the blade.
3. Carefully remove the old blade. It is recommended to wear gloves.
4. Place the new blade onto the spindle, ensuring it is properly aligned.
5. Tighten the screw with the blade removal pin until secure.
6. Reinsert the pin into its storage slot.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Activating the Tool

1. Hold the electric scissors firmly by the ergonomic handle.
2. Locate the safety lock switch (often a small button or slider).
3. Press and hold the safety lock switch.
4. While holding the safety lock, pull the main trigger to activate the cutting blade. The blade will begin to rotate.
5. Release the safety lock switch once the blade is rotating, but continue to hold the main trigger during operation.

4.2 Cutting Various Materials

The SnapFresh Cordless Electric Scissors is designed to cut a variety of materials up to 1/4 inch thick, including:

• Cardboard
• Fabric
• Carpet
• Leather
• Paper
• Plastic Packaging
• Rope

To cut, gently guide the rotating blade along the desired cutting line. Apply steady, even pressure. Avoid forcing the tool through thick or resistant materials.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

After each use, ensure the tool is powered off and the safety lock is engaged. Use a dry cloth to wipe away any dust or debris from the blade and housing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

5.2 Blade Care

The SKS7 alloy blade is self-sharpening. However, if cutting performance diminishes, replace the blade following the instructions in Section 3.2. Store spare blades in a safe, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

• Tool Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • Verify that the safety lock switch is pressed simultaneously with the main trigger.
• Poor Cutting Performance:
  • Check if the blade is dull and needs replacement (refer to Section 3.2).
  • Ensure the material being cut is within the 1/4 inch thickness limit.
  • Clean any debris from around the blade.
• Unusual Noise or Vibration:
  • Turn off the tool immediately.
  • Inspect the blade for damage or improper installation.
  • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
