4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.
- RC Car: Requires 4 x AA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the car, open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.
- Remote Control: Requires 3 x AAA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote, open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.
4.2 Pairing the Remote Control
The 2.4 GHz technology allows for automatic pairing. Ensure both the car and the remote control have fresh batteries installed and are turned on. Place the remote control near the car. The devices should automatically connect. If connection issues occur, turn both devices off and then on again.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Driving the RC Car
Use the joysticks on the remote control to maneuver the car:
- Forward/Backward: Push the left joystick forward to move the car forward, pull it backward to move the car backward.
- Left/Right: Push the right joystick left to turn the car left, push it right to turn the car right.
5.2 LED Lights
The car is equipped with LED headlights that illuminate during operation, enhancing realism and visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
5.3 Multi-Player Racing
Thanks to the 2.4 GHz frequency, up to 10 players can race their NIKKO RC vehicles simultaneously without signal interference. Ensure each car and remote is paired correctly before starting a multi-player race.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the car and remote control with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, store the car and remote in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Battery Care: Always use fresh batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
7. Troubleshooting
- Car not responding:
- Check if batteries are correctly installed and fully charged in both the car and remote.
- Ensure both the car and remote are turned on.
- Re-pair the remote control with the car (turn both off, then on again).
- Ensure you are within the operating range (up to 40 meters).
- Poor range or interference:
- Move away from other electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Ensure no other 2.4 GHz devices are operating too close.
- Replace batteries in both units.
- Car moves slowly:
- Batteries may be low. Replace them.
- Check for debris or obstructions in the wheels or chassis.
