2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

1. Charge Batteries: Before first use, fully charge both 2000mAh batteries. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet and then to the battery. The indicator light on the charger will turn green when fully charged. Charging typically takes 1-2 hours per battery.
2. Insert Battery: Align the charged battery with the battery slot at the base of the pruning shears and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Activating the Shears

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located near the battery) for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates.
2. Activate Blades: With the power on, quickly press the trigger twice in succession. The blades will open, indicating the tool is ready for use.

4.3 Adjusting Cutting Diameter

The shears offer two adjustable cutting sizes: 0.98 inches and a maximum of 1.4 inches.

• To switch between cutting diameters, press and hold the trigger for approximately 2 seconds. The blades will adjust to the alternative size. Release the trigger, then squeeze again to confirm the setting.
• The LCD display may indicate the current cutting diameter setting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Pruning

1. Ensure the shears are activated (blades open).
2. Position the branch to be cut between the open blades. Ensure the branch fits within the selected cutting diameter.
3. Squeeze the trigger firmly to make a clean cut. The blades will automatically retract after cutting.
4. Avoid twisting or prying with the shears, as this can damage the blades or motor.

5.2 LCD Display Functions

The integrated LCD display provides real-time information:

• Battery Level: Shows the remaining battery charge, allowing you to monitor power and avoid unexpected shutdowns.
• Cut Count: Displays the number of cuts made, useful for tracking progress or maintenance intervals.

5.3 Smart Trigger and Sleep Mode

The shears feature an intelligent sleep function to conserve battery life:

• If the shears are inactive for a period, they will enter sleep mode.
• To reactivate, simply double-click the trigger.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Blade Care

The blades are made from high-carbon SK5 steel for durability and sharpness.

• Cleaning: After each use, clean the blades with a damp cloth to remove sap and debris. For stubborn residue, use a mild solvent.
• Lubrication: Apply a few drops of lubricating oil to the blade pivot point and cutting edges periodically to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
• Sharpening: Use the included sharpening stone to maintain blade sharpness as needed. Follow the original blade angle.

6.2 General Cleaning and Storage

• Wipe down the body of the shears with a clean, dry cloth.
• Store the shears and batteries in the portable storage box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Ensure batteries are partially charged before long-term storage.
