5. Setup Guide
The senri WiFi Extender offers a simple setup process. You can choose between WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) for quick connection or manual setup via a web browser.
5.1. WPS Quick Setup (Recommended)
This method is the fastest way to connect your extender if your router supports WPS.
- Plug In: Plug the WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your existing Wi-Fi router. Wait for the Power indicator to light up.
- Press Router WPS: Press the WPS button on your main Wi-Fi router. Refer to your router's manual for the exact location of its WPS button.

- Wait for Connection: Wait for a few moments. The WPS indicator on the extender should turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
- Relocate: Once connected, you can unplug the extender and move it to a desired location within your router's Wi-Fi range but closer to the area needing extended coverage. Ensure the Wireless indicator remains solid after relocation.

This image illustrates the simple WPS setup process, showing the user pressing the WPS button on both the router and the WiFi extender for a quick connection.
5.2. Manual Setup via Web Browser
If your router does not support WPS or you prefer manual configuration:
- Plug In: Plug the WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your computer or mobile device.
- Connect to Extender's Network: On your computer or mobile device, connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the extender (e.g., "WiFi_Repeater" or similar, without a password).
- Open Web Browser: Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and enter the default IP address or domain name for the extender in the address bar. (Common default addresses are
192.168.10.1orrepeater.net. Refer to the label on the device or packaging for the exact address). - Log In: Enter the default username and password (commonly "admin" for both).
- Select Mode: Choose "Repeater Mode" or "AP Mode" based on your needs (see Section 6 for details).
- Scan for Networks: If in Repeater Mode, the extender will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter Password: Enter the password for your home Wi-Fi network.
- Configure Extender SSID (Optional): You can choose to keep the same SSID as your main router or create a new one for the extended network.
- Apply Settings: Save the settings. The extender will restart.
- Relocate: Once configured, unplug the extender and move it to an optimal location.
6. Operating Modes
Your senri WiFi Extender supports two primary operating modes:
- Repeater Mode: In this mode, the extender wirelessly connects to your existing Wi-Fi network and re-broadcasts the signal, effectively boosting and extending its coverage. This is ideal for eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.
- AP (Access Point) Mode: In AP mode, the extender connects to your internet source (e.g., a router or modem) via an Ethernet cable (using the LAN port) and then broadcasts a new wireless signal. This can be used to create a new Wi-Fi network from a wired connection.

This diagram illustrates how the WiFi extender, placed strategically, can boost the signal from your main router, extending coverage to areas previously experiencing weak or no signal.
7. Maintenance and Care
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your WiFi Extender:
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid placing the extender in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in excessively humid environments.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device; do not block the ventilation holes.
- If the device is not in use for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact support if issues arise.
