  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.

5.2 Resetting the Device

If you encounter persistent issues or need to revert to factory settings, you can perform a reset:

  • Locate the "Reset" button on the back of the print server.
  • With the device powered on, use a paperclip or similar pointed object to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 5 seconds.
  • Release the button. The device will restart with factory default settings.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Setup Difficulties / Antivirus Flags

Some users may experience issues with the Quick Installation Tool being flagged by antivirus software or difficulties with manual setup.

  • Antivirus Interference: Temporarily disable your antivirus software during the installation process if it flags the Quick Installation Tool. Remember to re-enable it afterward.
  • Manual IP Configuration: If automatic IP assignment fails, you may need to set a static IP for the print server. Access the web management page (xiiaozet.local) and navigate to "Advanced Network" settings to configure a static IP.
  • Incorrect Wi-Fi Key: Double-check your Wi-Fi password during network configuration. An incorrect key will prevent connection.

6.2 Printer Not Responding / Printing Without Stop

Some printer models may encounter issues like not detecting ink levels or continuous printing when using the TCP/IP Port method.

  • Disable Bidirectional Mode: This device is not bi-directional. For certain printer models, you may need to disable the "Bidirectional Mode" in your computer's printer properties (Ports tab). After disabling, power off and power on the print server to restart it.

6.3 Printer Compatibility

The LK100EW supports 99% of printers. If your printer is not working, verify its compatibility.

  • Check Compatibility List: Refer to the official Xiiaozet website for an updated printer compatibility list.
  • Ensure Driver Installation: Make sure your computer system has the appropriate drivers for your specific printer model installed.
