5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Choosing an Installation Location
Select a location that provides optimal coverage for your desired area. The recommended installation height is 6-8 meters for best motion detection and lighting spread. The floodlight can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
5.2 Mounting Instructions
- Mark Drilling Points: Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall or ceiling.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points. Insert the provided wall plugs if necessary.
- Secure Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the floodlight's power cable to your electrical supply. This product is double insulated, so an earth wire connection is not required. Ensure connections are secure and insulated.
- Attach Floodlight: Secure the floodlight to the mounting bracket.
- Adjust Heads: Adjust the three lamp heads and the motion sensor to your desired angles. The lamp heads can rotate 180° horizontally and tilt 90° vertically. The motion sensor can rotate 360°.
5.3 Remote Control Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to turn the light on or off. When turned off, the light will enter a standby state.
6.2 Selecting Operating Modes
Use the remote control to select one of the four operating modes:
- 24-Hour Sensing Mode (Sun icon): The light will activate upon detecting motion, regardless of ambient light conditions (day or night).
- Night Sensing Mode (Moon icon): The light will activate only when motion is detected in low light conditions (at night).
- Constant Light Mode (Light bulb icon): The light will remain continuously on until manually turned off.
- Timer + Sensing Mode (Clock icons): The light will stay on for a preset duration (1H, 2H, or 3H), after which it will automatically switch to a 45-second motion sensing mode.
6.3 Adjusting Settings with Remote Control
The remote control allows for precise adjustments:
- Lighting Duration (Sensing Modes): Use the 45S/90S/120S/5MIN/10MIN buttons to set how long the light stays on after motion is detected.
