Inspect all components for any visible damage. If any items are missing or damaged, contact Takki customer support immediately.

3.2 Initial Charging

It is recommended to fully charge the power station before its first use to optimize battery performance and longevity.

  • AC Wall Charging: Connect the AC wall adapter to the DC Input port (16.4V-24V) on the power station and plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. A full charge typically takes 6-8 hours.
  • Car Charging: Connect the car charger to the DC Input port and plug it into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. This method is suitable for charging on the go and typically takes 8-10 hours for a full charge.
  • Solar Charging: Unfold the 40W solar panel and place it in direct sunlight. Connect the solar panel to the DC Input port (16.4V-24V) using the appropriate DC-DC cable and connector. Solar charging can take 7-8 hours to reach 80% charge, depending on sunlight intensity.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Care

  • Keep the power station clean and dry. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods (when not charging), and high humidity.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the cooling vents are clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow and prevent overheating.

5.2 Battery Longevity

To maximize the lifespan of the lithium-ion battery, it is recommended to:

  • Fully charge the unit before long-term storage.
  • Recharge the unit at least once every 3-6 months, even if not in use, to prevent deep discharge.
  • Store the power station in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Power Station Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is not completely depleted. Connect the power station to an AC outlet or solar panel for charging.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it registers.

6.2 Devices Not Charging/Powering On

  • Output Overload: If the total power consumption of connected devices exceeds 300W, the power station may shut down to protect itself. Disconnect some devices and restart the unit. Using devices over 300W may damage the power station.
  • Port Activation: Ensure the correct output (AC, DC, USB) is activated by pressing its respective button. The indicator light for the active output should be on.
  • Cable Connection: Check that all cables are securely connected to both the power station and your devices.
  • Device Compatibility: Verify that your device's voltage and wattage requirements are compatible with the power station's outputs.

6.3 Slow Charging of Devices

  • Ensure you are using the appropriate port for fast charging (e.g., QC 3.0 for USB-A, PD for USB-C).
  • Check the charging cable. A damaged or low-quality cable can significantly reduce charging speed.
  • Some devices may have specific charging protocols that limit speed.
