Setup and Installation

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches of air space on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Continuous Drain Option (Optional): For continuous operation without emptying the water bucket, attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose leads to a low-level drain.

Operating Instructions

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Setting Humidity Level: Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to set your desired humidity level. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached.
  • Operating Modes:
    • Normal: Standard dehumidification operation.
    • Turbo: Increases fan speed for faster dehumidification.
    • Auto-Defrost: Automatically activates when frost builds up on the evaporator coils.
    • Auto-Restart: The unit will automatically restart with previous settings after a power outage.
  • Timer Function: Set the unit to turn on or off automatically after a specified period using the Timer button.
  • Full Bucket Alert: The unit features a convenient 1.6-gallon water tank. When the water bucket is full, the unit will alert you and automatically shut off to prevent spills and overflowing.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

  • Emptying the Water Bucket: When the Full Bucket alert activates, carefully remove the water tank and empty its contents. Reinsert the tank securely.
  • Cleaning the Air Filter: The unit has a removable mesh filter. The "Check Filter" alert will indicate when it's time to clean the filter.
    1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
    2. Remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
    3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
    4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it.
  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
