Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your GLEDOPTO Zigbee CCT LED Controller:
- Prepare Components: Ensure you have the GLEDOPTO controller, a compatible DC5-24V power adapter, and a CCT Dual White LED strip. A Zigbee hub is also required for smart control.
- Connect LED Strip: Connect the warm white (WW) and cold white (CW) wires from your LED strip to the corresponding terminals on the controller (V+, CW, WW). Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect Power: Connect the DC5-24V power adapter to the controller's input port (DC0050 or separate wires).
- Power On: Plug in the power adapter. The indicator light on the controller should illuminate.
- Pair with Zigbee Hub:
- Put your Zigbee hub (e.g., Philips Hue, Amazon Echo Plus, Ikea Tradfri) into pairing mode.
- On the GLEDOPTO controller, press and hold the 'Reset' button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Once successfully paired, the LED strip connected to the controller will flash or change color, and the controller will appear in your Zigbee hub's app.
- Test Functionality: Use your Zigbee hub's app or a compatible remote control to test the on/off, brightness, and color temperature adjustment functions.
For detailed pairing instructions specific to your Zigbee hub, please refer to your hub's user manual.
Operating Instructions
Once set up, you can control your LED strip using various methods:
1. Brightness Adjustment
Adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100% to suit your needs.

Figure 3: Visual representation of brightness adjustment, allowing users to set the desired light intensity.
2. Color Temperature Regulation
Change the color temperature from warm white (approx. 2000K) to cold white (approx. 6500K) to create different ambiances.

Figure 4: Illustrates the range of color temperatures from warm (2000K) to cool (6500K) and their visual effect in a room.

Figure 5: Demonstrates the visual difference between warm white and cold white light settings on a typical desk environment.
3. Smartphone APP Control
Use the dedicated smartphone application (via your Zigbee hub's app) to control your lights from anywhere. This includes setting groups, schedules, and syncing with music.

4. Remote Control (Optional)
If you have a GLEDOPTO 6-group remote (GL-RC-006Z), you can control the lights directly without a Zigbee hub. This allows for dividing different rooms into different control groups.

Figure 7: An illustration of the GLEDOPTO remote control's functionality, demonstrating how it can control lights in various rooms and scenarios like living room, bedroom, kitchen, and more.
5. Voice Control
Integrate with Amazon Echo Plus or Google Home for hands-free control. Simply use voice commands to turn lights on/off, adjust brightness, or change color temperature.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your GLEDOPTO LED Controller, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the controller. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Environment: Ensure the controller is installed in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and excessive humidity. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against water.
- Connections: Periodically check all wire connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Firmware Updates: Check your Zigbee hub's app for any available firmware updates for the controller, as these can improve performance and add new features.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GLEDOPTO LED Controller, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- LED Strip Not Lighting Up:
- Check power supply: Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and providing the correct voltage (DC5-24V).
- Check LED strip connections: Verify that the LED strip wires are securely connected to the controller's V+, CW, and WW terminals with correct polarity.
- Test LED strip: Connect the LED strip directly to a known working power supply to confirm the strip itself is functional.
- Controller Not Pairing with Zigbee Hub:
- Ensure the controller is within range of the Zigbee hub.
- Put the Zigbee hub into pairing mode correctly.
- Perform a factory reset on the controller: Disconnect power, then reconnect and immediately press and hold the 'Reset' button for 5-10 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. Then attempt pairing again.
- Check for interference: Other wireless devices might interfere with the Zigbee signal.
- Brightness or Color Temperature Control Not Working:
- Verify successful pairing with the Zigbee hub.
- Ensure you are using the correct control interface (app or remote) for the specific function.
- Check if the LED strip is a true CCT (Dual White) strip. Single color or RGB strips will not respond to color temperature changes.
- Controller is Hot:
- Ensure the total wattage of your LED strip does not exceed the controller's maximum output (144W). Overloading can cause overheating and damage.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the controller.
