Operating Instructions

The MasterPRO knife sharpener features three sharpening slots: Ceramic, Coarse, and Fine. Use them in sequence for optimal results.

  1. Coarse Sharpening (for very dull or damaged blades):
    • Hold the sharpener firmly with one hand on a stable surface.
    • Insert the knife blade into the "COARSE" slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener.
    • Pull the knife blade through the slot from heel to tip, applying light downward pressure.
    • Repeat this motion 3-5 times, or until the blade feels sharper.
  2. Ceramic Sharpening (for general sharpening and maintaining sharpness):
    • After coarse sharpening, or for knives that are not extremely dull, insert the blade into the "CERAMIC" slot.
    • Pull the knife blade through the slot from heel to tip, applying light downward pressure.
    • Repeat this motion 3-5 times.
  3. Fine Sharpening (for honing and polishing the blade):
    • For a razor-sharp edge and polished finish, insert the blade into the "FINE" slot.
    • Pull the knife blade through the slot from heel to tip, applying very light pressure.
    • Repeat this motion 3-5 times.
  4. Always clean the knife blade after sharpening to remove any metal particles.
