2. Important Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating the electric scooter. Failure to follow safety guidelines can result in serious injury or damage to the product.
2.1 General Safety Guidelines
- Always check your device before use. If you notice that parts are damaged, that the battery has a very low start-bearing, that the tires are worn or abnormally inflated, or that there is a strange noise or a bad operation, please do not use your device and contact an authorized repairer or customer service.
- Regularly check the tightness of the various bolted components, especially the wheel axles, the folding system, the steering, and the brakes. Always check that the steering system is correctly adjusted and that all connecting elements are tight and not broken.
- Check the tires for proper inflation and cracks on the walls of the tire. Keeping the tires properly maintained and at the right PSI pressure will help prevent flats and damage.
- The brake lever is shipped in a downward position in order to prevent damage.
- Check all cables and cable housings for fraying, cracks, breaks, rust, or corrosion. If anything is damaged, replace immediately – do not ride. Additionally, check the brake pad for any damage as it will wear overtime and eventually need replacement. If a replacement of the brake pad or any other part is needed, please contact customer support for replacement service.
- Ensure the saddle is in place at the correct height and the release bracket is securely fastened.
- Do not ride in sand, puddles, mud, or other wet areas. Do not ride in extreme weather conditions.

Avoid wearing anything that can drape over or get caught in/under the wheels. Wear closed-toe, flat shoes to maintain flexibility and stability.
- Users must not exceed the weight indicated in the maximum weight specifications, otherwise, the driver may fall and injure themselves, or even damage the balance (stability) function of the device.
- Raise the kickstand and put both feet on the ground to maintain balance (stability) before starting.
- Please use this device only in authorized locations; if this location requires permission, please request it.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on the scooter, insert the key into the ignition slot on the right side of the handlebar and turn it clockwise. The display will light up. To power off, turn the key counter-clockwise and remove it.
5.2 Throttle and Speed Control
The scooter features a half-twist throttle on the right handlebar. Gently twist the throttle to accelerate. The speed can be changed evenly and smoothly.
5.3 Braking System
The EILLEO scooter is equipped with responsive and effective dual drum braking systems on both the front and rear wheels. Pull the brake levers on the handlebar to engage the brakes. The scooter also features regenerative braking; pulling the brake levers halfway will engage regenerative braking, which helps conserve battery life and reduce wear on brake pads.
5.4 Lights and Horn
The scooter has a bright front headlight and a red tail-light for visibility. To turn on/off the lights, press the light switch on the left handlebar. The tail-light also functions as a brake light, illuminating brighter when the brakes are applied. The horn button is located on the left handlebar; press it to sound the horn.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Tire Pressure
The ideal tire pressure for the front and rear tires is 40-45PSI. Use a suitable inflator to check the tire pressure and, if necessary, re-inflate the inner tube.
- Remove the dust cap from the end of the air valve.
- Connect the end of the inflator pump.
- Re-inflate the tire to 40-45 PSI.
- Disconnect the inflator pump.
- Screw the dust cap back onto the end of the air valve.
6.2 Brake Maintenance/Adjustments
To tighten or release the brakes, use the Hex/Allen key provided. Unscrew the nuts at the places placed on the brake caliper and slightly pull the cable to tighten or loosen if depending on the desired action. Tighten the cable tension with the corresponding brake handle.
6.3 Cleaning
Before cleaning, make sure the bike is turned off. Unplug the charging cable and cover the charging port. During the cleaning process, be careful to keep the water out of the charging port. To clean, wipe the outer body of your unit with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Check around the wheels and ensure there is no blockage.
Note: The waterproof and dustproof grade is IP54, which is semi-splash-proof. Therefore, you should not immerse the electric bike in water, which will cause permanent damage to the bike.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any problems with your EILLEO Electric Scooter, please refer to the troubleshooting section in the user guide or contact customer support for assistance. Common issues may include:
- Brake Rubbing: If the disc brake rubs, adjust the caliper by loosening the bolts, holding the brake lever, and re-tightening the bolts.
- Power Issues: Ensure the battery is fully charged and the key is turned to the ON position. Check all connections for looseness.
- Unusual Noises: Inspect all moving parts for obstructions or loose components.
