  • On-Camera Playback: Switch the camera to 'SETUP' mode. Use the navigation buttons to browse and play back captured photos and videos on the 2-inch HD color display.
  • Computer Transfer: Connect the camera to your computer using the Type-C USB cable, or remove the micro SD card and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer. The camera/card will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to copy files.

6.5 Loop Recording

When the micro SD card is full, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest files to continue recording new footage. This ensures continuous operation without manual intervention, provided the loop recording feature is enabled in settings.

Image: A visual representation of the video loop recording function, showing how the camera continues to record by overwriting the oldest files once the memory card is full.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens, PIR sensor, and solar panel with a soft, dry cloth to ensure optimal performance. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Battery Care: If using AA backup batteries, check their charge periodically and replace them when low. For the internal lithium battery, ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight or charge via the Type-C cable.
  • SD Card Management: Format the micro SD card periodically (via camera settings or computer) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important files before formatting.
  • Waterproofing: Ensure the camera's latches are securely closed and the rubber seals are free of debris to maintain its IP66 waterproof rating.
