Setup and Installation

The XOSS XL-1200 offers two convenient mounting options: positive mounting and hanging mounting. Both methods ensure a secure fit on various bicycle handlebars.

Mounting Instructions:

1. Attach the Handlebar Mount: Secure the handlebar mount to your bicycle's handlebar using the provided screws. Ensure it is tightened firmly to prevent movement during rides.
2. Choose Mounting Method:
   • Positive Mounting: For mounting the headlight on top of the handlebar. Slide the XL-1200 headlight onto the mount until it clicks into place.
   • Hanging Mounting: For mounting the headlight below the handlebar. Use the GoPro Adaptor and Bolt to attach the headlight in a hanging position.
3. Adjust Angle: Once mounted, adjust the angle of the headlight to ensure optimal illumination of your path without blinding oncoming traffic.

Operating Instructions

The XL-1200 headlight features a single button for easy operation and cycling through its various lighting modes.

Power On/Off:

• To Turn On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
• To Turn Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.

Lighting Modes:

Once the light is on, single-click the power button to cycle through the 6 available lighting modes:

1. High Light Mode: Provides maximum brightness (1200 lumens) for optimal visibility. (Approx. 1.7 hours runtime)
2. Medium Light Mode: A balanced brightness for general use. (Approx. 2 hours runtime)
3. Low Light Mode: Lower brightness for extended battery life. (Approx. 4.5 hours runtime)
4. Power Saving Mode: Designed for maximum runtime. (Approx. 10.5 hours runtime)
5. Flash Light Mode: A flashing pattern for increased daytime visibility or emergencies. (Approx. 8.7 hours runtime)
6. SOS Mode: A specific flashing pattern for emergency signaling. (Approx. 2.5 hours runtime)

Battery Level Alert:

The XL-1200 features a power indicator light on the side to show the current battery level:

• Green Light Flash: 70% - 100% battery remaining.
• Blue Light Flash: 20% - 70% battery remaining.
• Red Light Flash: Below 20% battery remaining. Please recharge the device.

Charging

The XOSS XL-1200 is equipped with a built-in 3200mAh battery and charges via a USB-C port.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the headlight.
2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the headlight.
3. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank).
4. The power indicator light will show charging status. It will change color or stop flashing when fully charged.
5. A full charge can provide up to 9 hours of use, depending on the selected brightness mode.

Maintenance
