Sealing Different Food Types

Figure 5.1: The VEVOR Chamber Vacuum Sealer is suitable for sealing liquids, solids, powders, and pasty foods.
- Wet Foods/Liquids: Unlike external vacuum sealers, this chamber model can seal liquids and wet foods without drawing moisture into the pump. Ensure the liquid level is below the sealing line.
- Meats/Solids: Ideal for preserving fresh meats, vegetables, and other solid items.
- Powders/Pastes: Can effectively seal fine powders and thick pastes without issues.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior and interior of the chamber with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the sealing bar and surrounding area are clean and dry before each use.
- The removable filling plate can be washed with warm, soapy water.
Oil Change
The vacuum pump oil should be checked regularly and changed as needed, typically after several hundred hours of operation or if it appears cloudy/dark. Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions on checking and changing the oil.
Replacing Consumables
The heating wire and high-temperature tape on the sealing bar are consumables and may need replacement over time. Your unit includes spares.
- Heating Wire: If the bags are not sealing properly, the heating wire might be worn out. Carefully replace it by following the instructions in the detailed manual.
- High-Temperature Tape: This tape protects the heating wire. Replace it if it shows signs of wear or damage.
- Lid Gasket: If the vacuum is not holding, inspect the lid gasket for cracks or damage. Replace it with the provided spare if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
