1. Introduction

The BoxWave AccuPoint Active Stylus is an electronic stylus designed for precise interaction with touchscreens, including the Honor Choice Watch. It features an ultra-fine tip and operates by emitting electronic pulses, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing. This manual provides instructions for its setup, operation, and maintenance.

2. Setup

2.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the stylus. Connect the included MicroUSB cable to the charging port on the stylus and to any standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The indicator light will show the charging status.

2.2 Powering On/Off

To turn on the stylus, press the power button located on the barrel. The indicator light will illuminate. To turn off the stylus, press the power button again.

3. Operating Instructions

The AccuPoint Active Stylus does not require Bluetooth pairing. Simply turn it on and begin using it with your touchscreen device.

3.1 Basic Operation

Use the ultra-fine tip to interact with your screen. The stylus emits electronic pulses that allow for precise tapping, swiping, and drawing, mimicking the feel of a traditional pen.

  • Tapping: Lightly touch the screen with the stylus tip to select items or activate functions.
  • Swiping: Drag the stylus tip across the screen to scroll or navigate.
  • Drawing/Writing: Apply light pressure and move the stylus tip to draw or write on compatible applications.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging

The built-in battery provides approximately 12 hours of continuous use on a full charge. Recharge the stylus when the indicator light signals low battery or when performance diminishes. Use the provided MicroUSB cable for charging.

4.2 Cleaning and Care

To maintain optimal performance, keep the stylus tip clean and free from debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the stylus body and tip. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Stylus not responding:
    • Ensure the stylus is powered on (check indicator light).
    • Charge the stylus fully. A low battery can affect performance.
    • Ensure the device screen is clean and free of smudges.
  • Inaccurate input:
    • Check if the stylus tip is damaged or worn.
    • Clean the stylus tip and the device screen.

7. Important Notes

  • The AccuPoint Active Stylus does not support Palm Rejection. Ensure your hand does not touch the screen while using the stylus if palm rejection is desired.
  • The AccuPoint Active Stylus does not support Pressure Sensitivity. Input will be consistent regardless of pressure applied.
  • The Honor Choice Watch device is not included with the stylus.
