6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Allow the machine to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the heating platen with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for Teflon surfaces.
  • Teflon Sheets: Replace Teflon sheets if they become worn, torn, or excessively dirty to ensure optimal transfer quality and protection.
  • Storage: Store the machine in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use. Keep the heating element in the open position to prevent pressure on the lower platen.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Uneven Heating: Ensure the heating element is clean and free of debris. Verify that the pressure is evenly distributed across the platen. The machine features double tube heating for uniform temperature.
  • Design Not Transferring: Check that the temperature and time settings are correct for your material. Ensure sufficient pressure is applied. Verify that the heat transfer material is compatible with the substrate.
  • Machine Not Powering On: Check the power cord connection and the wall outlet. Ensure the main power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Error Codes: If the digital control box displays an error code, refer to the specific error code section in the full manual (if available) or contact customer support.
