Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the coffee maker for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the thermal carafe, filter basket, and permanent filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Touchscreen Functions:
- PROG (Program): Used to set a delayed brew start time.
- TIME (Clock): Used to set the current time.
- SIZE (Cup Size): Allows selection of the desired number of cups to brew (2-10 cups).
- BOLD (Coffee Strength): Adjusts the coffee strength to mild, medium, or bold.
- BREW: Initiates the brewing process.
Brewing Coffee:
- Set Current Time: If not already set, press the TIME button and use the up/down arrows (if present, or repeatedly press TIME) to set the current hour and minute.
- Select Cup Size: Press the SIZE button repeatedly to cycle through the available cup sizes (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 cups).

- Start Brewing: Press the BREW button to immediately start the brewing process. The display will show the current time and brewing indicator.

Care and Maintenance
Daily Cleaning:
- Unplug: Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
